Players should start to develop a consistent serve that are in-bounds, a better understanding of positioning on court (knowing where to be), and start to identify “bad sets”, lifts, throws and double hits.

Detailed weekly schedules, locations, and weekly RSVPs so players and opponents know what to expect at upcoming games
Team ranking
Your rank in the standings will be recorded based on team score (wins/loses/points)
Standings
Wins / loses / points in that order. Example: Team with most wins is top seed. If tied for wins, then team with least loses. If tied wins and loses, then most points.
Standings will be updated on a weekly basis
Group chats where players can communicate with each other and subs- this is also where players will communicate with coordinators, and vis versa.
Subs:
If you need a sub
YOU MUST FIND YOUR OWN SUBS. It is your responsibility to find a sub if you cannot make it. If you need help finding someone, talk please talk to league director. If you are a no-show, and you don’t communicate that you won’t be there, you will get an automatic 0-2 loss (forfeit).
Penalty for needing a sub
If you need ONE sub, you will be deducted -5 from that match automatically.
If your WHOLE team needs subs, you will automatically get an 0-2 loss (forfeit). There are no rewards for not showing up.
if you are late, automatic -5 deduction
Some things to think about:
Sign up with a teammate (notice: individual sign ups cannot be accommodated).
If you’re unable to commit to the full season, please consider signing up as a substitute.
(notice: being a sub does not guarantee playtime. Openings are subject to the absence of regular season players on a weekly basis)
Please contact the director for any questions or concerns.
The purpose of this league is so we can all have fun and get better at the game- with competition of course 😉. Can’t wait to start!
